Individual therapy is a space for you to slow down, begin to make sense of what’s going on, and take gradual steps to better care for yourself. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here.
I adapt our work based on you — your needs, your experiences, and your goals. I draw from relational and insight-oriented approaches, mindfulness, EMDR, and somatic practices to help you understand your patterns, reconnect with yourself, and start feeling more grounded, empowered, and clear.
I am a native Spanish speaker, have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, and am LGBTQ+ affirming.
EMDR Therapy
Go beyond talking — heal where it lives, in your body and nervous system. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you process the emotional weight of past experiences. Unlike talk therapy alone, EMDR works directly with the brain and body’s natural healing process to shift how disturbing memories, beliefs, and body sensations are stored so they feel less overwhelming, less triggering, and more in the past where they belong.
If you’re someone who knows you're safe, have value, and are doing the best you can but struggles to feel that deep down, EMDR can help bridge that gap.
EMDR can be helpful for a variety of challenging experiences, including early relational traumas, accidents and assaults, birth trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. For more information about EMDR click HERE.
Teletherapy
I offer virtual therapy for residents of New Jersey, New York, and PSYPACT participating states.
All virtual sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform to safeguard your privacy. You can access these live video sessions through your computer, tablet, or smartphone. We will work together to decide whether virtual or in-person treatment is the right fit for you.
Therapist Coaching
Therapist coaching offers a supportive space to deepen your practice. I offer personalized guidance to help you build confidence, refine your approach, and integrate new techniques to better support your clients.
I specialize in trauma treatment, with extensive experience supporting clients navigating attachment wounds, family conflict, and complex relational dynamics. In supervision and consultation, I provide personalized, trauma-informed feedback on your cases. I’ll support the development of your unique therapeutic voice and niche while offering grounded guidance to strengthen your clinical skills and confidence. You’ll also receive support in managing imposter syndrome, preventing burnout, and building a sustainable practice. If you’re starting or refining your private practice, I offer practical guidance rooted in real-world experience.
The goal is to support you in your ongoing development as a therapist, ensuring you feel empowered and aligned with the work you're doing, while finding balance in both your personal and professional life.
