I’m So Glad You’re Here
ABOUT ME
Dr. Thai Alonso is a first generation Cuban American, a fluent Spanish speaker, and a mom to three. Prior to becoming a psychologist, her love for animals had her considering a career in veterinary medicine. After enrolling in a college psychology course, she found her true calling. Dr. Alonso has two dogs and two cats. On most Mondays, Pixie, her Mini Australian Shepherd puppy accompanies her to the office.
In addition to providing therapy, Dr. Alonso provides psychoeducation about therapy online and mentors young therapists seeking to improve their clinical skills.
“When a person realizes he has been deeply heard...It is as though he were saying, "Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it's like to be me”
– Carl Rogers
